Marlitt Almodovar, is an artist that combines painting, drawing, found object, walking and textile as part of her studio practice.
Lives in works in Mexico City. she received her BFA from National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM in 2015. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Mexico and Sweden
Growing up near to the japanese culture was a major influence on Marlitt’s studio practice, thus her work is influenced by japanese traditional aesthetics. Her focus is on the flow of time on the everyday trivial moments.
